Our Practice

Adams Oral Surgery was established in 1985 and has been responsible for providing outstanding oral and maxillofacial surgery ever since. Our specialty is in the area of dentoalveolar and implant surgery.  We offer our patients an atmosphere of caring and comfort, with an emphasis on anesthesia services to optimize their experience. Our business is located in Hanover at 249 Allegheny Avenue and in Gettysburg at 20 Expedition Trail, Suite #205.

Dr. Carl Tempel graduated from Penn State University, the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and completed a five-year residency in the U.S. Army.  During a 12 year Army career, Dr. Tempel became a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  Dr. Tempel has been with Adams Oral Surgery since 2006. 

Dr. Tempel assisted by a highly trained and experienced team of nurses and administrative personnel.  Each procedure performed in our office is assisted by at least one licensed nurse and all of your scheduling and financial needs are met by an administrative team with a combined experience of over 55 years.
